US Airways (NYSE: LCC) is teeing up extra flights for customers traveling to Augusta, Ga. for one of the world’s premier sporting events — The Masters(TM).
TEMPE, Ariz – The expanded service will begin March 30 and continue through April 9.
US Airways will increase and upgrade its current schedule of six daily flights from Charlotte, N.C. to Augusta flights to nine flights on select days. The increased service will be operated by 50-seat Dash-8s and by 70-seat and 86-seat regional jets. Additionally, the airline will offer special fares for Augusta-originating customers during this increased service period.
The airline will also implement special nonstop service between Augusta and New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and Philadelphia on select peak travel days.

The upgraded and additional Charlotte-Augusta flights will operate March 30 through April 9. Special nonstop service to Philadelphia and New York will operate April 2 through April 9.
