Mid Atlantic and North Atlantic load factors were also up by 1.2 and 3.0 points, with a traffic increase of 10.6% and 3.9%respectively.
In the international medium haul load factor improved by 6.9 points compared June 2005. Traffic had a good performance in the majority of European destinations, highlighting Greece and Denmark. Traffic was also very positive in African and Middle East destinations.
In the domestic sector, the strategy is focused on improving profitability through a selective adjustment of capacity and a revenue management policy focused on yield improvement.
In the second quarter of 2006 traffic grew by 12.4%, with a capacity increase of 6.1%; thus, load factor improved by 4.5 points, reaching 79.8%
