33 year-old Maltese national Roderick Micallef, acting general manager and director of finance at the CHI Hotels & Resorts (CHI) operated five-star Corinthia Hotel Lisbon in Portugal, was proclaimed winner of the prestigious International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) Young Leader Award 2010.

Die Hilton Family of Hotels wird am 10. März 2009 im Rahmen des International Hotel Investment Forum, das vom 9. bis 11. März 2009 stattfinden wird, das so genannte Project Global21 vorstellen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine weltweite Lifestyle-Hotelmarke, die das derzeitige Portfolio an Luxus-Hotelmarken des Unternehmens erweitern soll.
