Passengers travelling to Africa enjoy from now on flat beds in Business Class, new comfortable seats in Economy Class and a new in-flight entertainment system
Brussel – SN Brussels Airlines launches today a totally revamped in-flight product on board of its longhaul aircraft connecting Europe and Africa on a daily basis. Thanks to the new flat beds in Business Class, the state-of-the-art audio and video entertainment system and the new Economy Class seats, SN Brussels Airlines is more than ever the number one airline in terms of comfort and quality.
SN Brussels Airlines brings the newest in-flight technologies on board of its 3 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, connecting the Capital of Europe with 13 African destinations.
Both Business Class and Economy Class passengers will be treated to lots of novelties. More than 10 mio EUR has been invested in the total revamp of the in-flight product. The first aircraft (A330-300, registered as OO-SFN) has already been refitted. The other two A330-300 aircraft (OO-SFM and OO-SFO) will be reconfigured before the end of June
Business Class
The biggest enhancement is undoubtedly the new seat, which can be transformed into a 180° flat bed with a length of 198 cm. The position of the foot-, leg- and armrest can be changed so that each passenger can select the position which suits himself best. The seat, produced by Contour, is even equiped with a massage tool, for a more relaxed flight.
The time spent onboard « flies » thanks to the wide selection of audio channels and films, and the new big LCD videoscreens (10.4’’).
110 volt power supplies make it perfectly possible to use a laptop throughout the flight, and the individual changeable reading lights allow you to read in all discretion.
All passengers in Business Class will obviously enjoy our culinary treats. We have an à la carte choice of 4 meals with a Belgian touch, combined with carefully selected international wines. Fresh salads and fruit, cheese, aperitifs, beers, liqueurs and Belgian Neuhaus pralines complement our culinary offerings.
Economy Class : Feeling good
Thanks to the new ergonomically designed seats, passengers flying Economy Class will enjoy even more legroom and personal space. The new headrest is adjustable both in height and width.
The new LCD videoscreens make it even more pleasant to watch films. Also the quality of our audio entertainment system has drastically improved.
Carefully prepared meals, ice cream and a large selection of free drinks throughout the whole flight are part of our catering service.

SN Brussels Airlines has full confidence in the future of the African market. That’s the airline hired, in addition to the new product, 10 young university students. They will be sent to Africa this Summer as Management Trainees Africa, after a thorough formation in the airline business.
