Kauai’s newest beachfront resort is the perfect addition to Outrigger’s
Condominium Collection

HONOLULU, HAWAII – Guests will soon be able to enjoy Kauai’s newest luxury resort condominium with the $200 million Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa set to open on December 1, 2006. Outrigger Enterprises Group is pleased
to welcome this well-appointed property to its collection of 14 resort condominiums, all of which are located within some of Hawaii’s finest resort destinations on four islands.

„The Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa is a significant addition to our Condominium Collection, and allows us to continue to offer only the best in hospitality to our guests,“ said Outrigger’s Steve Winter, vice president of Outrigger’s Condominium Collection. „We are very pleased to have been chosen to manage a project of this caliber on Kauai.“

[GADS_NEWS]Winter added, „The resort hasn’t even opened but it has already been recognized by the Building Industry Association of Hawaii as a 2006 Parade of Homes standout.“

With a pristine oceanfront setting, Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa sits on 12.6 acres on the eastern shore of the Garden Isle, between the historic towns of Kapa’a and Wailua. The resort features a total of 190 luxury condominiums – 153 two-bedroom, three bath suites and 37 one-bedroom,
two bath suites. Each is impeccably finished with the highest quality materials, from imported hardwood crown and base moldings and Peruvian Travertine floors, to premium granite countertops, to the stainless steel appliances by Sub-Zero, Wolf and Fisher/Paykel. All speak of quality and sophistication.

The new resort will offer Outrigger guests a long list of upscale amenities. Central air-conditioning, complimentary in room high speed Internet access and wireless Internet access throughout the resort and wall mounted flat screen TVs are just a sampling of the many well thought out guest amenities.

Additionally, guests will enjoy a 4,000 square foot Aveda lifestyle salon and spa set to open early next year. Aveda, which is known the world over for its sensory experiences for the mind, body, skin and hair with products based on pure flower and plant essences, will offer a full spa menu of treatments incorporating traditional Hawaiian healing practices as well as
signature Aveda treatments that will soothe, calm or invigorate the entire body. Spa treatments will be available both indoors as well as poolside in special outdoor cabanas.

The property also will feature a fitness center and lobby activity desk. The 300,000 gallon heated salt water fantasy pool, with flowing river, garden, dual serpentine waterslides, sand-bottom children’s pool and three sand-bottom whirlpool tubs will ensure fun and relaxation for the whole family. The Tahitian Lanai Bar & Grille is set to open poolside by the end of the year, with a full-service restaurant planned within a year of the resort’s opening.

This oceanfront property has stunning views and is perfectly located just steps from shopping – Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa is directly across the street from Kauai Village Shopping Center and Waipouli Town Center, and just down the road from the Coconut Marketplace. These centers offer visitors the perfect mix of boutiques, fine dining spots, casual eateries such as Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Cold Stone Creamery, authentic Hawaiian shops, jewelry stores, art galleries, healing and wellness centers, a Safeway grocery store, a Longs Drug Store with pharmacy, and even a movie theatre.

By offering well-designed yet comfortable luxury condominiums, Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa presents a new experience on the island. The local community has been very supportive of the Kauai-based developers, Waipouli Beach Resort LLC.

„We wanted to be sure this development was one that involved the people of Kauai,“ said Chris Singleton, Managing Partner of Kauai-based Waipouli Beach Resort LLC. „Local residents have welcomed us – in fact one-third of the units at the resort were purchased by local residents.“

With the community in mind, one of the first things addressed in the initial plans of the project was traffic flow and bike paths in the area. The project created a designated turn lane for Waipouli Town Center and a second lane for northbound traffic.

Singleton added, „It is an exciting time for us to finally see our vision for this resort come to life and to work with Outrigger to make sure it is a special and memorable place for all our guests.“
