As of November, Lufthansa passengers can enjoy the star cuisine of Juan Amador

Modern interpretations of French and Catalan taste trends coupled with a cosmopolitan approach and a large portion of creativity: That is what characterizes Juan Amador, the owner and chef of the „Amador“ restaurant with its two Michelin stars in Langen near Frankfurt (Main). In the next two months he will be spoiling Lufthansa passengers in the First and Business Classes with his menus.

In addition to their freshness and perfect preparation, the dishes created by Juan Amador impress through their originality. The onboard menus in the First Class, such as „Air-dried Beef from Léon with Chanterelle Mushrooms on Spinach Salad“ or „Scallops complemented by marinated Peaches, Port Wine Reduction and Wild Mushrooms“, are sure to have the heart of every gourmet beating faster. They simultaneously underline Juan Amador’s motto which is uncompromisingly aligned with the highest culinary pleasures: „The cuisine – that’s me!“ Guests in the Business Class can look forward to „Smoked Marlin with Beet Gelée and Green Horseradish“ or „Tortilla with Salsify, Ducca Olive Jus and Eggplant Coulis“.

[GADS_NEWS]Juan Amador was born in 1968 in Stümpfelbach, Swabia, as the son of immigrant workers from Granada in Southern Spain. His training at the „Gasthof Lamm“ in Weinstadt, above all, taught him discipline as the basis of all skills. It is complemented by the creativity which is characteristic of him and his love of the profession. Thus, he spends up to sixteen hours a day in the kitchen forming and refining his „gourmet cuisine with diversions“. That also explains his sparkling career as a star chef: he earned his first star as chef de cuisine at the „Petersilie“ restaurant in Lüdenscheid, a short time later the second followed as chef of the Schlosshotel „Die Weyberhöfe“, near Aschaffenburg: Today, two stars and numerous other awards from gourmet guides adorn the kitchen of the „Amador“ in Langen.

As of November, the dishes created by Juan Amador will be „en route“ for Lufthansa passengers in the First and Business Classes.
