Madrid – Iberia’s management and the trade unions CC.OO. and UGT have signed today the company’s 18th collective bargaining agreement for ground staff. The agreement, valid from January 1st until December 31st, 2008, covers the airline’s 16,500 ground employees who make up about 70% of Iberia’s total workforce.
The agreement stipulates a 3.5% wage increase, and an additional rise if needed to offset real 2008 inflation.
