More frequencies to Bogota, Caracas, Montevideo and New York for the Christmas Holiday Season
Madrid – Iberia will increase its flights to some Latin American and U.S. destinations during the Christmas holiday period with additional frequencies to Bogota, Caracas, Montevideo and New York.
The Spanish airline will add four weekly flights between Madrid and Bogota, for a total of two return trips in some days. The number of seats on the Madrid-Caracas routes is to be raised 20%, by using the larger Airbus A340/600s. Iberia will also offer daily return flights between Madrid and Montevideo during the period.
The number of direct flights from Madrid the New York will be increased up to 13 per week. They are scheduled to provide convenient connections to Iberia’s entire network.
Iberia is leader in the number of flights per week between Europe and Latin America, with nearly 250 flights to 17 destinations. The airline also offers direct flights to Boston, Chicago, New York and Miami, as well as another 45 U.S. cities under code-sharing arrangements with American Airlines.
