The first Christmas presents to children in a children’s home in Ústí nad Labem were delivered by Czech Airlines (ČSA) representatives.
The Ústí nad Labem children’s home is the first of seven homes throughout the country that ČSA employees will be sending their gifts to. ČSA employees are taking part in the charitable project Under the Wings of ČSA, in which Czech Airlines is cooperating with the Tereza Maxová Foundation, by buying presents.
The Christmas letters of some 220 children from seven children’s homes have been hanging on Christmas trees in the company’s administrative buildings since mid November for Czech Airline employees to find. The presents which they have gathered during the month will satisfy the Christmas wishes of children from children’s homes in Ústí nad Labem, Frýdlant, Dolní Lánov, Písek and the Moravian towns of Příbor, Potštejn and Hranice na Moravě. The children will enjoy presents that will help their personal development such as English tutorials on CD and sports goods. ČSA joined in its Christmas giving with Sparkys, a company that specialises in selling toys for children of all ages.
