Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced that its field services employees have again rejected representation sought by the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU).
HOUSTON – We are pleased that our employees recognized the value of our direct working relationship. By honoring our commitments to employees, we will continue to maintain the culture of trust we’ve built at Continental Airlines,“ said Bill Meehan, senior vice president airport services. „Working together, we have a promising future.“
The TWU filed an election application with the National Mediation Board in August. Continental’s field services employees covered by the election included ramp, operations and cargo agents.
