bmi, Heathrow’s second biggest airline, continues to put in place contingencies to enable the airline to carry any passengers that are caught up in the industrial action and disruption to BA services next week.
The placing of larger aircraft on existing routes has created over 3,000 extra seats on bmi flights between Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Manchester and London Heathrow. bmi will also increase the frequency of flights as soon as take-off and landing slots are released by BA through flight cancellations.
