Following the agreement reached between SWISS and the executive committee of Aeropers, the union of the company’s Airbus pilots, the union’s members have now also voted to approve the proposed new Collective Labour Agreement for Airbus cockpit personnel.

As a result, the new CLA will now enter into effect on November 1.

The new Collective Labour Agreement for the cockpit personnel of the SWISS Airbus fleet will be valid for three years. The new accord pays due and full regard to both the company’s ongoing restructuring and the intensified competitive environment, and will further strengthen SWISS’s foundation for sustainable future growth.

The new forward-looking agreement will also ensure continued favourable working terms and conditions for the employees concerned.

[GADS_NEWS]“We are very pleased that this approval of the new 2006 Collective Labour Agreement for our Airbus pilots brings our long and intensive negotiations on this issue to a positive conclusion,” says Antonio Schulthess, Executive Vice President Human Resources at SWISS.
