Book flights for the coming year

Berlin – Air Berlin, the second largest German airline, has opened the winter timetable 2011/12 for bookings on numerous routes. These include internal German flights, numerous destinations in Europe, internal Spanish routes as well as flights to Palma de Mallorca.

For example, within Germany airberlin operates up to ten flights from Dusseldorf to Munich and up to eight flights to Berlin every day. There are up to five flights from Dusseldorf to Stuttgart and four flights to Hamburg daily.

The route from Berlin to Venice that airberlin offered for the first time in the winter 2010/11 will be continued in next winter’s timetable. Travellers from Berlin can go to the city on the Adriatic up to three times a week, while airberlin flies to the Sicillian town of Catania from many German airports and from Zurich up to 18 times a week.

Travellers from Germany can fly to the Iberian Peninsula up to 28 times per week to Barcelona. And up to 25 times to Malaga and Alicante. airberlin operates up to eight flights a week to the Portuguese town of Faro, while up to 184 fights go from various German airports to the Balearic Island of Mallorca. Passengers from Austria can get to Palma up to 16 times a week, with up to 10 flights from Basel and Zurich.

Holiday and business travellers can get to the Austrian capital Vienna from Dusseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Hanover up to five times daily. In addition, there are flights from many German cities to Salzburg and Innsbruck. In Switzerland airberlin offers flights to Basel and Zurich.

airberlin will fly to Scandinavia during the coming winter. For example, airberlin operates two flights daily from Berlin to Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen. Routes to North Africa have also been released for booking.

The winter timetable 2011/12 will start on 1st November 2011 and ends on 30th April 2012, with the exception of flights to and within Spain, where the timetable is valid until 29.3.2012. Passengers who fly airberlin will be able to secure flights for the winter season now over the coming year and make savings. Tickets are available over the Internet from 18th January 2011 in the company’s service centre (+ 49 (0) 1805 737 800, at 0.14 €/min from a German landline; call charges from a mobile phone in Germany max. 0.42 €/min) and can be reserved by your travel agent.
