Summer timetable 2009 to the USA and Canada now available for booking
Air Berlin is extending its range of long-haul flights from Düsseldorf to North America. The airline will again be operating daily flights to New York, as well as three flights a week to Los Angeles during the summer schedule 2009. Air Berlin had temporarily suspended these connections in its winter timetable. There will be five flights a week to Miami during the summer. Air Berlin passengers will now be able to take off for Fort Meyers on four days a week instead of three. As in the recent summer schedule, Air Berlin will again be offering three weekly non-stop flights from Düsseldorf to Vancouver. Airbus A330s with a capacity of 303 seats, 24 of them in Business Class, are used on the North American routes.
Flights can now be booked online (airberlin.com), by calling the airline’s Service Centre (Tel.: 01805-737 800) any time and through travel agents. A single Economy Class ticket from Düsseldorf to New York is available from 219 euros, to Miami and Fort Meyers from 249 euros, to Los Angeles from 299 euros and to Vancouver from 329 euros. Feeder flights can also be booked at a cost of 40 euros. The fares quoted already include taxes and charges.
