AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), announced the launch of a new promotion with SunTrust, one of the nation’s largest banking organizations, that will provide new and existing customers an easy way to earn free* round-trip flights.

ORLANDO, Fla., – The promotion will continue through March 9, 2007.

With a minimum deposit of $10,000 into a new or existing Premium Money Market Performance account, customers will earn AirTran A+ Rewards credits equal to one round-trip flight anywhere AirTran Airways flies. Business clients can participate as well by depositing a minimum of $25,000 into a new or existing Premium Business Interest Account. The funds must be from a source other than an existing SunTrust account, and must be maintained in the account for at least 90 days. Once these requirements are met, customers simply complete an AirTran A+ Rewards redemption certificate and the Rewards credits will be deposited into their AirTran A+ Rewards account ready for ticket redemption.
