WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HOT) is ringing in the new year with a special offer to make travel for its Starwood Preferred Guest(R) (SPG) members extra rewarding. Through the SPG Great Weeks, Grand Weekends promotion, members can earn double Starpoints(R)
every night of the week, plus a weekend bonus of an extra 500 Starpoints for every Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday night during their stay- with no limits on earnings. Members can earn these extra rewards January 3 through April 15, 2011 at over 930 participating hotels and resorts worldwide across all nine Starwood brands, including Sheraton, Westin, W, and St Regis.

SPG members can register for Great Weeks, Grand Weekends at spg.com/greatweeks from January 3 through March 31, 2011. Travelers who are not yet SPG
members can join the award-winning loyalty program and register for the promotion as well. Membership is free and Starpoints are awarded beginning with the first eligible stay.
SPG strives to create consumer-facing promotions that reward their existing membership while also attracting new travelers to the program.
